Poland Spring Sea Bag

We're big fans of Sea Bags®. They marry beauty and function in their popular tote bags and accessories, and best of all they make them with recycled sails. Like Sea Bags®, we at Poland Spring know that old materials can be reborn into something new, and it's why we very carefully design all of our bottles to be 100% recyclable.

Coming together, we have designed a limited edition tote bag that is made with sail cloth containing 80% recycled plastic bottles. Pretty cool, huh? That's proof recycling works! The handmade tote bag design features our favorite state, with a heart sewn over our hometown, Poland, Maine. The inside lining includes some better-known and some little-known trivia about Poland Spring brand, Sea Bags and the great state of Maine.

Our Sweepstakes has ended but stay tuned for exciting news in 2019!  #PolandSpringSeaBag #ProudlyfromMaine #seabagsighting #taleofthesail

Calling 207

207 is more than an area code. It’s a symbol of Maine’s can-do, fix-‘er-up attitude. We traveled throughout Maine in our hydration station spreading the word about our Calling 207 initiative and asking where we could do the most good. And, boy, did you answer our call! In 11 weeks, we received some great 207Act submissions and thousands of votes. Thank you to everyone who submitted a 207Act, voted, or just stopped by to say hello.

We work hard to monitor and care for our spring sources and surrounding environments in Maine. We believe it’s equally important to help the next generation appreciate and learn about our state’s natural resources as well. For over a decade, we’ve partnered with the Gulf of Maine Research Institute (GMRI) to bring fifth and sixth graders from across the state to GMRI’s lab in Portland, free of charge, for a half-day immersion in water science.

Environmental education is incredibly important in the awareness and continuity of Maine’s natural resources. To this end, Poland Spring® Brand has made an investment in environmental education throughout Maine by partnering with Project WET, The Ecology School, Gulf of Maine Research Institute and through our own Trout in the Classroom/Brookie Buddies curriculum. More than 100,000 students have participated in education programs through our support.
